Practice Physical Distancing

– Physical distancing means keeping 2 meters (6 feet) between you and another person.

– Everyone should practice physical distancing to reduce their exposure to other people.

– Everyone should do their best to avoid close contact with people outside of their immediate families.

Practice Proper Hygiene

– Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 15-20 seconds or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.

– Sneeze and cough into your sleeve.

– Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.

– Stay home if you are sick.

If you have recently returned to Canada, you must quarantine (self-isolate) for 14 days. This is mandatory. For information on the measures involved with self-isolating, please visit the page prepared by the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Government of Canada on How to Isolate At Home When You Have COVID-19 and Travel Restrictions and Exemptions. If you are experiencing symptoms or potential symptoms related to COVID-19 or believe you may have been in potential close contact with a person with COVID-19, take the Self-Assessment Test on the Ontario Government’s website.
