(RELEASE) October 19, 2022 – The Council of the Township of Perry is very excited to accept a donation of $10,737.63 from the former Emsdale Community Centre Board, to go towards the new Emsdale Community Centre and Public Library! These funds were from prior board fundraising activities.
The donated funds will purchase a popcorn machine for future Recreation and Culture Committee events and equipment such as new chairs and round tables for the new Community Centre.
Council sincerely thanks the former Emsdale Community Centre Board for their gracious donation and looks forward to the former board members attending the grand opening of the new Community Centre and Public Library, along with other community stakeholders and residents, in Spring 2023.
