The Emsdale Fall Fair is THIS weekend, August 29 & August 30 on the grounds of the Emsdale Community Centre (25 Joseph St). Visit the Emsdale Agricultural Society's Facebook page for more details and schedule of events.
For the fourth year in a row, the Township is offering 'Vacation Rental Kits - everything a short-term renter needs in order to manage their garbage and recycling for a week. The kit includes a one-time Transfer Station Pass, 1 clear plastic bag for garbage, 1 clear plastic bag for plastic recycling, 1 large paper bag for fibers, list of disposal fees, and other relevant information.Property Owners can purchase Vacation Rental Kits at the Municipal Office or directly at the Transfer Station for $5 each or $45 for 10.townshipofperry.ca/garbage-and-recycling/
UPDATE - She has been claimed and is on her way home.Lost Dog FoundThis female dog was found on Highway 11 and was brought to our Municipal Office. If you recognize her, please contact the Municipal Office at 705-636-5941. She will be relocated to the Ontario SPCA Shelter in Bracebridge later this morning.
UPDATE (10:25 a.m.) - The culvert replacement has been completed and the road has been fully reopened.🚧 Temporary Road Closure Reminder 🚧Please be reminded that a temporary road closure will be in effect on Super Sign Road between civic address numbers 518 & 600 beginning at 7:00 a.m. TODAY, Thursday, August 20 for approximately 3 hours to allow for culvert replacements. Motorists are asked to use caution in the area and allow for extra travel time. Thank you for your patience and cooperation while this important infrastructure work is completed.
