The Public Works Department has advised that the Closure of Deer Lake Road between civic address 491 and 511 will remain closed. Due to the significant continued watershed and rain predicted over the next few days this location is anticipated to remain closed until further notice.![]()
Public Works Crews are monitoring the situation closely and once conditions permit the culvert will be replaced and the road will reopen. The detour remains – Hwy 518 to Bevans Road for all locations east of the closure. The public are requested to use caution, obey all safety signage, thank you for your cooperation.

Please be advised that Deer Lake Road is Closed between civic addresses 491 and 511 due to a culvert washout. Currently there is no Estimated Time for reopening. Public Works will monitor the situation and we will update as soon as the road is made passable. Detour route is Hwy 518 to Bevans Road.
