Notice to Residents - Changes to Part 8 “Sewage Systems” of the Building Code. ![]()

Effective May 1, 2026, the Township of Perry will be responsible for issuing permits and enforcement of septic system provisions, including conducting inspections and issuing orders for remedial actions where necessary for all properties within the Township. These changes are being made to streamline and expedite the development process, save costs, and improve service delivery times on sewage permits and inspections.![]()

April 17, 2026 - Notice to Residents![]()
The Roads Department has placed a pile of sand for sandbags at the end of Sherwood Drive for Perry Township resident's use. Residents are welcome to fill sandbags as needed to help protect their personal property in response to potential flooding. Sand will be placed in other areas throughout the Township as the needs arise. ![]()

Please bring your own shovels and sandbags, as only sand is provided at these locations. We have secured a limited number of sandbags that are available for pickup from the Municipal Office. At this time we will be limiting the number of bags for pickup to 20 per household.
