Beginning January 1, 2026, Circular Materials is implementing a province-wide recycling program that helps to standardize recycling for all Ontario residents. ![]()
Recycle anywhere: No matter where you are in the province - at home, on vacation, or just passing through - you’ll be able to recycle the same materials. Please note that some municipalities, such as the Township of Perry, will still require your recyclable materials to be separated into two streams: containers, and paper/fibre products. ![]()
Recycle more: There are a number of new materials that will be accepted for recycling as of January 1, 2026. These new materials include:
Black Plastic Containers;
Hot and Cold Beverage Containers (coffee cups);
Frozen juice containers;
Ice cream tubs; and
Deodorant and toothpaste tubes. ![]()
