(September 1, 2026) - Notice of ElectionVoting Day is Monday, October 26, 2026. Residents will vote by Telephone/Internet voting for 1 Mayor & 4 Councillors. Voting will commence at 10:00am on Friday, October 16, 2026 and will close at 8:00pm on Monday, October 26, 2026.Voter Information Letters will be mailed out to every elector on the Voters' List between September 22 & October 6 to enable them to use the Telephone/Internet voting service. Voter Help Centres have been established at the following locations:1. Emsdale Community Centre, Meeting Room 2 (25 Joseph Street) on Saturday, October 17, 2026 from 11:00am to 3:00pm. 2. Novar Community Centre (25 Laurie Street) on Sunday, October 18, 2026 from 11:00am to 3:00pm.3. Township of Perry Municipal Office (1695 Emsdale Road) from 10:00am to 3:00pm on the following days: Friday, October 16; Tuesday, October 20; Wednesday, October 21; and Thursday, October 22; and from 10:00am to 8:00pm on Monday, October 26.

The Township of Perry is thrilled to welcome community members, visitors, and local organizations back to the Perry Oldtimers Museum during the Emsdale Fall Fair on Saturday August 29th, 2026. After being closed to the public since 2019, Staff, Council, and volunteers over the past year and a half have been working towards its re-opening, with a major push by Staff this past month to have the Museum once again open this Fair Day. Staff & Council are excited to welcome the public ‘back in time’ to our Pioneer homestead, displaying artifacts actually used by our local pioneer families and significant to our area. We hope that those who have never visited our little museum, or those who grew up visiting each year, enjoy seeing life through the eyes of a Pioneer!
The Emsdale Fall Fair is THIS weekend, August 29 & August 30 on the grounds of the Emsdale Community Centre (25 Joseph St). Visit the Emsdale Agricultural Society's Facebook page for more details and schedule of events.
