The Township of Perry wishes to advise residents and neighbouring property owners that, at its meeting on July 15th, 2026, Council supported the renaming of Fisher Lake Lane to Patton Road South. Council also supported establishing year-round municipal maintenance on Patton Road South to approximately 63 Woodland Lane as of date of passing (Kearney). Included in the proposed name change from the Town of Kearney is Woodland Lane to Patton Road South.
The road renaming is intended to provide greater consistency in road naming throughout the municipality and improve clarity for residents, visitors, emergency services, and service providers.
The name change will come into effect once the required by-laws have been passed by both the Township of Perry and the Town of Kearney, as the road forms part of the municipal boundary.
