Notice: Work on So-Ho-Mish Road from Hwy 518 to Sunset Pass Road
(May 30, 2022) UPDATE: Work on So-Ho-Mish Road is scheduled to start on Wednesday JUNE 1, 2022.
Work is scheduled to be completed on So-Ho-Mish Road from Hwy 518 to Sunset Pass Road from the last week of May / Early June. This work includes:
- A final grade of So-Ho-Mish Road in preparation of the double surface treatment
- Double Surface Treatment will be applied to the road from Hwy 518 to Sunset Pass Road starting June 1, 2022.
Once the double surface treatment is laid down on the road, it will initially look like a loose gravel road. The vehicular traffic will pack down the gravel into the tar and the loose gravel will blow off to the shoulder of the road. During this time, dust suppressant or water cannot be used on the road surface.
While work is being completed there may be traffic interruptions or temporary lane closures. The Township asks for your patience and cooperation while the road work is being completed.
